30 November 2006: Was forced to recuse himself on a Diocese of Alexandria-Cornwall application to stay and application for a judicial review of a ruling by Justice Normand Glaude. Glaude’s ruling had dismissed the diocese’s motion for a publication ban on the name of several clergy. When it was learned that Power was in conflict he was asked to step down. He allegedly did so unwillingly.
