Director Quits -- City Hall Quiet

City of Ottawa officials are remaining quiet about the sudden departure
of the director of communications at City Hall. 

In an e-mail to councillors, corporate services general manager Kent Kirkpatrick
says Marie Josee Lapointe left the City effective June 23, 2003. 

Lapointe had been with the City since December 2000.
